Our Daily Life
At Homewood Care we promote a philosophy of balance and well-being in an individual’s life. In keeping with this philosophy, we offer a comprehensive range of activities that are complimentary to all residents.
Our activity program is updated weekly to provide stimulating and enjoyable activities. We have regular BBQ’s, outings and guest entertainers. We also provide specialised programs which include art therapy, memory enhancement and palliative care.

Steps to Admission
A residential aged care facility provides accommodation and support for those who can no longer manage on their own and need more assistance on a daily basis.
The decision to move into residential aged care is not easy. You should discuss what you should do with someone who respects your situation and knows you well. This could be a family member or your local doctor.
You contact an aged care assessment team (ACAT)
The ACAT will make an appointment to visit you & conduct your assessment
You receive your assessment – outlining what you are eligible & approved for
Visit Homewood Care with a copy of your assessment & fill out a ‘request for an income and asset assessment’ to secure your place at Homewood – it’s that easy!
